Two new novels from Mignon Eberhart

We’ve got two new titles from MWA Grand Master Mignon Eberhart! New to our collection is the Sarah Keate mystery, Murder by an Aristocrat, as well as Hunt with the Hounds.

In Murder by an Aristocrat, Nurse Sarah Keate visits the mansion of the aristocratic Thatcher family to treat a bullet wound. A relative insists that the wound was self-inflicted, but when the convalescing man dies under strange circumstances, Keate can’t help but suspect the worst, and there’s now no doubt that the killer resides within the Thatcher mansion.

In Hunt with the Hounds, a dead woman’s husband faces trial for her murder, though the members of their small Virginia community doubt his guilt. But when the key witness’s testimony ensures the man’s freedom, she herself becomes the main suspect. In a town like Bedford, almost anyone can look guilty, and while suspicions run amok, somewhere in the midst the real killer sits undetected.

Mary Higgins Clark called Mignon Eberhart “one of America’s favorite writers.” Between 1929 and 1988, Eberhart authored dozens of novels, and won the Scotland Yard Prize in 1931. Check out her author page here.
