New Malcolm Shuman titles for our collection!
We’ve just added five new titles by Malcolm Shuman to our collection, including three Pete Brady mysteries! We now have fourteen of Shuman’s novels available in eBook form. The new titles include Killer’s Ink, Death Notice, Deerslayer, Mayab, and The Mobius Man. Here’s a quick rundown of their plots:
Killer’s Ink: Investigative reporter Pete Brady moves to desolate Troy, Louisiana after being threatened by the New 
Orleans underworld. Upon arriving, he buys a failing newspaper and tries to rebuild his life. But when the paper’s gossip columnist is found dead, Brady soon realizes that even the smallest towns can have big crimes.
Death Notice: An ex-convict returns to his hometown after doing 29 years for murder. He’s now an old man, but the town remembers him as a hardened criminal, someone to be both feared and shunned. For Pete Brady, the new owner of the local weekly newspaper, untangling the history of the man’s past crimes could mean enflaming the town’s long-dormant passions, not only against the old ex-con, but against Brady himself.
Deerslayer: Pete Brady and the child he is hunting with have one thing in common: neither has ever hunted before. Unlike Brady, the boy, whose father invited the newspaperman along, has been training for this moment his whole life. But when they go to retrieve the boy’s first kill, Brady and his friends find the body of a man where they expected that of a deer. Unconvinced that the child could have made such a drastic mistake, Brady goes in search of an ingenious killer, and soon finds himself in the crosshairs.
Mayab: Clay Holliman, a young archaeologist, returns to the Yucatan Peninsula after the death of his mentor. Ten years before, he and Doctor Leon had searched there for the secrets of the Maya; this time, though he tells the man at customs that he hasn’t come to dig, Clay is lured back into the jungle, where, at a notoriously dangerous site, he searches for the truth.
The Mobius Man: After an injury suffered in an explosion in Buenos Aires leaves David’s memory in tatters, he returns to the United States to heal. The doctors say that his memory will come back, but, before it does, he is given another mission. Working for the CIA, David must infiltrate the shadowy world of Mexican outlaws, where he soon sees things that make him appreciate his inability to remember.
